Tuesday (tomorrow) is Holocaust Memorial Day, it’s not just about the people who died at the hands of the Nazis, it’s about all genocide, it’s about remembering those lost and those who survived.

The theme this year is “keeping the memory alive.” The best quote as to why we should do this comes from a Holocaust victim, D. Berger -

‘If something happens, I would want there to be somebody who would remember that someone named D. Berger had once lived. This will make things easier for me in the difficult moments.’

…so, all I am asking, pop up to Weathertop for 9pm UK time, we’ll do a minute’s silence. This isn’t about Tolkien or Middle Earth. Sometimes a get together in here doesn’t have to be about that. This about us as people standing together and just remembering something extremely important. Never forget!
